El Abecedario



Here is the spanish alphabet (el alfabeto) or normally named as "el abecedario", remember that spanish vowels never change their pronuntiation.

b (be)
c (ce) remember that the syllabs ca,co,cu have a k sound (ka,ko,ku) and ce,ci have a
s souns
d (de)
e
f (efe)
g (ge) ga,go,gu, gue,gui are pronounce like the english g as gate. ge and gi are
pronounced as a j(jota =equivalent to the english h)
h (hache) spanish "h" has no sound.
i
j (jota) sound like the english h (hit)
k (ka)
l (ele)
m (eme)
n (ene)
ñ (eñe) has a nh sound
o
p (pe)
q (qu) it could combined just as que (ke) and qui (ki)
r (erre)
s (ese)
t (te)
u
v (ve/ ve labial)
w (be doble/ doble be)
x (equis)
y (ye/ i griega)
z (zeta) it has a "s" sound but with the tongue between the teeth, in latin america speaking there's no difference in the pronountiation of z,s, ce,ci.. all are pronounced with a "s" sound.

How To Speak Spanish: Greetings and Introductions

This is a useful video for learn how to say greetings in spanish, you can also learn some expressions about introductions and feelings that are very useful in the lifeday.. The sound of the "r" sound a bit strange because it's an american speaker, but besides of it there's no any problem with the pronunciation.

we've seen the numbers until 30. now we will say the decimal numbers:

20 veinte
30 treinta
40 cuarenta
50 cincuenta
60 sesenta
70 setenta
80 ochenta

we know how to say 21, 22... 29 in spanish, for the next numbers since 31.. we just had to add "y" between the numbers:
31 treinta y uno
32 treinta y dos
33 treinta y tres
34 treinta y cuatro
35 treinta y cino

46 cuarenta y seis
57 cincuenta y siete
78 setenta y ocho
89 ochenta y nueve
92 noventa y dos
99 noventa y nueve
100 cien

Welcome everyone to my blog! My name is Mauricio i'm a peruvian student, and very proud of my native language El Español. The idea of this blog comes because of some friends and some people i met in the last years... foreign people who desire to learn or practice spanish, they ask me to help them whith their learning and maybe if i can recommend them a course online or a book, so this is for me a contribution to all these people who want to learn a bit more of spanish, practice, or interested in the latin culture.
